The work was completed in July 2023

Riser Workscopes

  • There is historical slippage on the buoyancy
modules on one of the risers at GP3
  • A 3D scan was performed on the riser in order
to model the profile and positions of the
    buoyancy modules and compare with
    previous scans from 2019, 2021 and 2022
  • x2 clamps with sensors
were removed with ROV from the riser. These had been logging movement over a 9 month period.
  • The sensors had been installed in 2022 via
    another Petrex managed workscope in
collaboration with a ROV design company and
    subsea contractor.
