Petrex provided Project Management and Engineering support for the GP3 moorings inspection and changeouts.
The support consisted of:
• Scope of work preparation and tendering review/selection
• Management and verification of Subsea Moorings Contractor onshore and offshore
• Technical representation onboard the Anchor Handler during installation and commissioning
• Close out and as building
The workshop was completed over 2 seasons:
• 18 days in September 2021 –3 mooring chains inspected and 200m to 500m sections replaced
• 20 days in September 2022 –3 mooring chains (500m sections) replaced
